Hello Ladies~ ❤
I never post about the make up I use, since it's nothing special or fancy, but yesterday I treated myself to something I'd like to show you.
Since, as I said, my make up is nothing special I figured that at least the base should be good. I often see women with nice eye make up but their foundation is just horrifying. It's too much or it makes the unevenness even more visible, it doesn't mach their skin tone and so on.
I remembered, that when i used to work at Cecil a lot of my co-workers used Chanel as their base make up.
Yesterday I checked it out at a cosmetics store and after a staff kindly helped me to choose a product (cause there are several just for the foundation) and color I was surprised how well it works!
Let me introduce you
Chanels
Mat Lumière Extrême in beige rosé
I just came from work and my skin was not in its best condition but this powder foundation worked pure wonders! Just a bit is enough to cover uneven color and pores. I also like the mat effect it gives your face.
The package is your usual paper carton but you also get a little pouch to store the compact powder. Bother pouch and compact have the Chanel logo. If you run out of powder you can just buy a refill, which is cheaper than buying a whole new compact. To open it you just have to push a button, making it very easy to use and hopefully not as breakable as compacts with this kind of clip-closing (sorry, I've no idea how to call that). Because a mirror is included, too you may touch up your make up anytime.
It wasn't that expensive as you'd might expect from a brand like that. 6.500 Yen without tax, refill is 5000-ish. In my opinion it's a totally acceptable price for a product that has the quality the name promises.
Wow, that kind of ended up like a review! But I'm so positive about this foundation that I
had to write about it.
Any way, today I'm off to Chiba to meet my husbands grandmother and tomorrow I have to work.
No weekend for me, but enjoy yours!
